GREBLON® C - Cookware

Which pan is best suited for fish filets? A fried egg? Pancakes?

They are round, oval or angular, they are palm-sized or arm length, coated with ceramic or PTFE. They are available colourfully varnished or individually lasered. They exist flat or with high edges or depressions, for example for fried eggs. They are extremely cheap or more expensive.

We are talking about pans with non-stick coating, which are supposed to do one thing:
skillfully prevent food from sticking.

How many pans belong in a private kitchen? »In a four person household you get along with two pans«, says Mehdi Khodavirdi, owner and chef in Mehdi’s Restaurant in Hünstetten-Bechtheim.

»For searing steaks and fried potatoes a pan of iron, stainless steel or ceramic coating. For the gentle, slow frying foods which you want to prevent from sticking, e.g. flour and egg dishes such as omelette and fried egg or fish, a pan with PTFE coating«.
